NATURAL RESOURCES

DEPARTMENT FUNCTIONS SUMMARY

The functions of the Doyon, Limited Natural Resources Department include managing the following programs:

Sand, gravel and rock - maintain inventory of product types and quantities produced, issue material sale agreements and monitor development and production activities.

Placer Gold Mining - issue exploration licenses and mining leases, approve mining and reclamation plans and monitor development and production activities.

Base & Precious Minerals - maintain proprietary databases, evaluate data to identify prospects that warrant follow up work, prepared promotions brochures, meet with interested parties and monitor exploration activities.

Oil & Gas - maintain proprietary databases, evaluate data to identify targets that warrant follow up work, prepared promotions brochures and monitor exploration activities.

Community Planning - meet with village leadership and residents to discuss projects, development and reclamation plans, and training and employment opportunities.
