Doyon, Limited manages 38 material sources
in 34 villages within the Doyon Region to generate revenue to Doyon,
Limited. Doyon maintains an inventory of the types of materials
produced, enters into material sales agreements, conducts periodic
site visits to collect samples and discusses development plans with
community members and village leadership. Doyon's policy is to make
these construction materials available in each village for community
projects, maximizing the utilization of the resource and minimize
the liability to the Village Corporation and Doyon. Each sale requires
a mining and reclamation plan, permission from the surface estate
owner, a 10 percent down payment, weekly truck counts and a certified
quantity survey due with final payment. For more information please
